Sophie Strachan hails from the quaint dutch country town of York, Pennsylvania. She relocated to Philadelphia, PA, in 2007 to pursue her degree in Fine Art at Moore College of Art & Design. As a neurodivergent artist and weirdo, her career is seemingly haphazard yet purposeful. Sophie’s main drive in life and work is to be creative, have fun, and positively impact the world.

 

Sophie often seeks out work with non-profits, small businesses, and activists that work towards meaningful missions. She is passionate about a variety of social issues, and often dreams of a world in which everyone is free, well-fed, safe, loved, and thriving.

 

Sophie holds a BFA in 2D Fine Art from Moore College of Art & Design, and an MFA in Museum Exhibition Planning + Design from the University of the Arts. As well as two certificates in Grant Writing from Temple University and the Community College of Philadelphia. She is currently working towards a certificate in UX Design.
