I needed to brand my personal artwork for a few reasons. First to separate my personal and professional work. Secondly, to use a name that was easier to pronounce and remember for a larger general audience. I wanted something memorable, but still personal. Sophie Margot was the name that I used during my french language class in high school. It was the perfect fit.
