Sophie Strachan hails from the quaint dutch country town of York, Pennsylvania. She relocated to Philadelphia, PA, in 2007 to pursue her degree in Fine Art at Moore College of Art & Design. As a neurodivergent artist and weirdo, her career is seemingly haphazard yet purposeful. Sophie’s main drive in life and work is to be creative, have fun, and positively impact the world. 

 

Strachan holds a BFA in 2D Fine Art from Moore College of Art & Design, and an MFA in Museum Exhibition Planning + Design from the University of the Arts. As well as two certificates in Grant Writing from Temple University and the Community College of Philadelphia.
